Driven: The 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Is Ready to Go 200 MPH
The new LS6 V-8 makes 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft in the base coupe, which starts at about $73K. Chevrolet claims 60 mph in 2.8 seconds. The Z51 package cuts top speed to roughly 180 mph with shorter gearing, a trade Car and Driver says it would make anyway.
The NEW Kia Seltos vs. Honda HR-V and Toyota Corolla Cross
Edmunds rates the new Seltos 7.8 out of 10, ahead of the HR-V and Corolla Cross, citing cabin space, screens, and a longer warranty. The mid-grade EX tested costs about $32,000. Edmunds clocked it to 60 mph in 10.6 seconds, the slowest of any vehicle on sale it has tested.

The unusually muted Tesla Cybercab launch
Tesla held the Austin event behind closed doors with no livestream or press and has not said when the two-seater goes on sale. EPA filings show a 219-horsepower front motor, a 48-kWh pack, and about 3,100 pounds. Robotaxi Tracker counts about 260 unsupervised Teslas in service against roughly 4,000 Waymos.

Factory-Built One-Off Ford Mustang V-10 Roars to Life After Years of Sitting
Ford made the 5.8-liter V-10 by adding two cylinders to its modular V-8 and tested it in a 1999 Cobra R mule as a Ford GT proposal. It ran a 12.3-second quarter mile at 117 mph, quicker than the 2003 Cobra. Restarted in August, it dynoed 510 horsepower at the wheels.

Thomas Holland of Throttle House revealed a restored and modified Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior with a new engine, fresh suspension and steering parts, an updated interior, and rust repair. The episode is the first drive of the finished car, with co-host James Engelsman along to judge it.

Michael Jordan's Ferrari 550 Could Set a Record at Auction
Jordan ordered the 1997 550 Maranello with longer seat rails and thinner padding for his 6-foot-6 frame and sold it in 2002. It resurfaced this year with under 19,000 miles and heads to auction via Pharrell Williams' collectibles platform Joopiter. A stock 550 set the model record at $650,000 last month.
The Latvian Madmen At DARTZ Are Building A Car From GTA In Real Life And It Has A Real Ejector Seat
The seven-figure commission recreates GTA's Nightshark, itself modeled on DARTZ's own Prombron from The Dictator. It uses a lengthened GM truck frame, an armored carbon-fiber body, and a 6.2-liter AMG V-8. The rear seat is a Lockheed Martin fighter-jet ejector seat that founder Leonard Yankelovich says still fires.
