Here’s our first look—and drive—of the 2027 Range Rover Electric
The electric Range Rover starts at $138,000 and makes 542 horsepower and 627 lb-ft. Removing the differentials and driveshafts leaves it only about 165 pounds heavier than the V8. Jaguar Land Rover says 80,000 buyers have registered interest, 70% of them new to the brand.

The Supersport 400 uses a turbocharged BMW straight-six for 402 horsepower and 369 lb-ft in a car weighing about 2,580 pounds. It reaches 62 mph in 3.6 seconds. Hagerty's Henry Catchpole calls it the best Morgan he has driven, and objects to the plastic shift paddles.

Tesla's two-seat Cybercab enters Austin robotaxi service with no steering wheel or pedals, running camera-only Full Self-Driving overseen by remote operators. Waymo, which also uses lidar and radar, has roughly 4,000 driverless vehicles in up to 14 US cities. The Verge notes Tesla now bears legal responsibility for crashes.
The Subaru WRX Is Making A Huge Sales Comeback
Subaru sold 1,778 WRX sedans in August, up over 190% on last year, and is on pace to beat its 2025 total. January's returning base trim cut over $5,000 from the entry price. Motor1 says the WRX still contributes little to overall brand volume, where crossovers dominate.

Doug DeMuro paid about $130K for a one-owner 1994 Supra Turbo in Renaissance Red with 31,000 miles, a factory six-speed manual, and no modifications. The twin-turbocharged 2JZ straight-six makes 320 horsepower. He plans to use it for school runs alongside his 993-generation 911 Turbo.
Bristol Cars Is Back from the Dead with Five V10 Fighters
The revived company finished one car from a chassis left unused when Bristol collapsed in 2011, with four more to come. The Viper-derived V10 is quoted at 525 or 600 horsepower, with a claimed 210 mph top speed. Around 15 original Fighters exist.

Porsche May Tap Audi Nuvolari for 918 Successor
Automotive News reports Porsche will decide this summer whether to build a successor to the 918, which ended production in 2015. Hagerty expects it would follow the Audi Nuvolari route, using the Lamborghini Temerario's twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors for 1,001 horsepower.

REO Industries has teased a lower-dash vent aimed at the driver's thighs on the Runabout, a $21,500 gasoline pickup it says will be body-on-frame, built in Texas, engineered for 500,000 miles, and sold direct.
